Expert Foundry Services uses a variety of high quality sands, including silica (50 GNF), zircon, and chromite, at 100% additions or blend silica with zircon or chromite at 50/50 additions at virtually any binder level ranging .5% to 2% not to mantion a variety of shell resin coated sands including zircon and ceramic blends (standard resin levels of 1.5%, 2.5% and 3.5%) specifics to your needs.

Expert Foundry Services has very few limitations to our capabilities. Our machines are our own unique designs and accommodate a variety of differents sizes and types of patterns more commonly know to be run in centain machines. We run any number of horizontally and vertically split wood, red board, urethane aluminum, cast iron, repro and more pattern types

We use the Pepset X binder system with a humidity resistant Part 1, to battle weakness issues, and can blow cores in a range of ounces up to approximately 350lbs. We use a coarse grade Black Iron Oxide as a gas scavenging/antiveining dry additive when needed. Our No-bake loop can produce cores and molds weighing up to 5000lbs. Specific needs are no problem, we face cores with certain sands for chilling factors and back with lower cost materials to save you money.

We have four Shalco EMI-U180 shell core machines in operation capable of handling core boxes up to 21" x 22" in size. Our resin coated sands include silica and zircon, as well as, zircon and ceramic blends with standard resin levels of 1.5%, 2.5% and 3.5% for steel or heavy irons.

Coating for your cores may be a necessity, We've got you covered. We use a high quality zircon; alcohol based wash and can apply it to cores in specific areas if your core cannot be coated completely to improve your surface finish on parts where finish is critical. Also, We have a graphite, water based wash and wash tank.

We assemble cores and close molds and have the knowledge to send a mold-ready product to save our customers time and labor. Our trained staff has the understanding they need to foresee the rest of the pouring procedd, to insure that the products you receive will give you the quality casting you expect. In a perfect world we wouldn't need to mention our policy on replacement products, but in reality problems do occasionally arise and issues occur. Whether it is a defect in the core due to a pattern issue, breakage in transit or for any other core related issue;Expert Foundry Services stands by its products and offers a replacement of our product at no-charge depending on the reason. We package our products with the greatest of care and use shredded paper, corrugated paper materials and foam products to protect your investment as it ships to you by .
